High Personal Productivity
I regularly accomplish up to 50%
more than most people without working extra hours.
But it wasn't always
that way for me...
It used to be that - although I
pretty much got everything done - I worked a lot of hours. I mean
a lot. There were many days when I'd come into work by 8:00 in the
morning, work hard until about 6:00 or 6:30 in the evening, go home for
dinner, and then go back to the office at around 8:00pm and work until
11:30 or even midnight.
It was exhausting. I wasn't
living a very healthy lifestyle back then. And worst of all, I
never seemed to make progress. The work kept coming and the
problems never went away. It took a huge toll on my marriage and
frankly, I wasn't enjoying life very much.
And to make matters even worse, I
had constant stress. I don't mean pressure to get things done.
I mean STRESS. Constant business challenges, barely enough money
to keep going, too little sleep, too many distractions...
I wish I knew then what
I know now...
You see... The key to getting a lot done is not to keep "going
and going and going and..." Working longer hours
isn't really the key to accomplishing more. When you understand
and apply the right strategies to become highly productive, you'll see
how you can accomplish more in the same or even less time then you did
before.
Being productive is an
interesting thing. Lots has been written about it. People
develop systems - sometimes elaborate systems - to accomplish it.
But the outcome for most people is the same - overload.
I've tried pretty much all of
the typical strategies for becoming highly productive. I've tried
the prioritized list approach, making a list of all the tasks I want to
accomplish and then classifying them as A,B & C, and then further
prioritizing them as A1, A2, A3, B1, etc. Sometimes it felt that
more of my day was spent preparing the list just right than getting the
tasks done!
I've used reminders in my
calendar software (like Outlook and Act) to keep me on track and make me
more productive. I even tried scheduling each hour of my calendar in an
effort to keep me on track.
But the bottom line is that
although making lists, leveraging technology, and smart use of your
calendar will help, they don't help all that much.
There are
some ways you can utilize those tools in smarter ways, but the keys to
true high productivity lie elsewhere.
You see, the strategies to become highly productive are
counter-intuitive. In other words,
the intuitive strategies - the ones that logically would seem to work -
aren't the best strategies for becoming highly productive. (Counter-intuitive strategies are
ones which on the surface seem like they would detract from
productivity, but in fact increase it.)
I'm not saying that proper time
management, prioritization, and lists aren't effective. I use
these tools all the time. But what I am saying is that they play a
relatively small role in being really productive.
When you apply these
counter-intuitive productivity strategies you will:
-
Get
20%-30% more
accomplished every day without working any more hours
-
Reduce stress so that
you enjoy your work more even though you'll be more intense
-
Have more time out in
the field finding new prospects or working with existing
clients or agents
-
Be more accurate,
work more quickly, and feel more positive than ever before
-
Become
more creative
in solving problems and reaching your goals

something up right up front...

The key to accomplishing
everything I've mentioned has nothing to do with having more
self-discipline.
(Having a bit more self-discipline can make a
big difference in your results, but that's not what this program
is about...)

"What if You Could Accomplish
20%-30% More Each Day in
the Same Amount of Time?..."
|
Virtually every client I work
with wants more from their business and their life. They want to
"fire on all cylinders" - to be efficient, dynamic, and effective.
Basically, they want to be highly productive. But they struggle
with achieving it. That's why I am offering this program.
In this 90 minute program,
I'm going to share these counter-intuitive secrets for being highly productive. Once you understand these strategies and
apply them, you will experience a jump in your productivity.
Each of my clients who has embraced these strategies has
experienced this jump. And it's not a gradual increase -- it's a
JUMP.
I am going to share with you
a variety of strategies you can use throughout the day to literally accomplish up to
30% more than you used to.
I've distilled these strategies
into four areas:
-
Time Leverage
-
Time Management
-
Self Leverage
-
Self Management
-
Time Leverage pertains to the
ability to leverage our efforts to make them more productive and
more efficient
-
Time Management pertains to
the ability to manage how and where we spend our time each day.
-
Self Leverage pertains to the
ability to leverage or "duplicate" ourselves
-
Self Management pertains to
the ability to manage ourselves, or more specifically manage certain
things we do to and for ourselves.
|
Remember, these
strategies don't rely on "self-discipline", "prioritized lists", or
better use of your calendar.
|
All those things can help, but
frankly, I don't consider myself to be very self-disciplined. I
don't use prioritized lists. I tried that, but it didn't work for
me. And I certainly use a calendar, but I don't get all crazy and
plan out each 15 minute time slot of my day. (I don't even plan
out each hour of my day.)
And yet, I truly accomplish more
than almost anyone else I know.
And I do it in less than 40 hours a week.

"Every time we talk you seem to have a
dozen major initiatives underway. I haven't seen many people
more productive than you. And still - you have time to play!
There's no question, your approach to high productivity works."

"Michael Beck has a knack for seeing
things that others miss. He regularly comes up with innovative
ideas: whether its developing agent and staff recruiting systems for
field managers, generating systems for customer reviews that result
in more business and increased customer satisfaction, or innovative
time management systems......they work!! If you want a new
perspective on tactics and tools to accelerate your success, Michael
is the "go to" guy! His ideas are fresh, innovative and insightful!"

"Michael Beck is one of the foremost
trainers and coaches in the financial services industry. I've
personally trained over 50,000 financial professionals, worked with
many excellent trainers and coaches, and designed entire training
programs for a number of financial firms -- yet, I always get good
ideas whenever I talk to Michael. His techniques and
approaches are refreshing, innovative, and, perhaps most
importantly, profitable.
Initially I was impressed with his
knowledge. But, I became even more impressed with how much he cares
about the people he works with. As a result, I'm proud to call him
my friend."
Steven Drozdeck, CEO, Progress Center
Nationally-known Speaker, Author, &

"I have worked with other coaches in the
past to help me grow my business but there are no others like
Michael. For me, Michael has become more than a business coach. With
his diverse past in business, Michael looks at things from a much
different perspective. I look forward to our time each week because
no matter what my immediate goals or challenges are, I am able to
review them with Michael and he is always able to provide valuable
insights to help me move forward. Michael has helped me to become
more productive with less effort and reduced stress in my life. If
you want to grow both personally and professionally, Michael is a
must."

others miss and to act upon it. In light of his prolific
production, Michael makes it look easy."
